What is Foster Care?
Spartanburg Foster Care > What is Foster Care?

Children are placed into foster care by the court when they are at risk of abuse or neglect.  Children are placed into foster homes or group homes until they can safely be reunited with their biological family.  If reunification is not possible, a permanent placement is found for the child such as adoption.
