Once you have completed the licensing process your home will be considered for placement of foster children.  We want the placement to be successful for both the foster family and the child. Caring professionals meet as needed to discuss the children that are in care and work together to find the best matches for both the child and the foster family.   

Foster Parents Decide

• the age and sex of the child they wish to foster
• the number of children they would like to foster - up to 5 including your own children providing you have the space in your home
• if you can foster a special needs child - one with physical, mental or emotional disabilities
• a sibling group
