Currently Spartanburg County has approximately 100 licensed foster homes.  More are needed.

At any on time we have approximately 300 children in foster care in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

In South Carolina, about two-thirds of foster children live in foster homes, and the rest live in group care or institutional settings.
